George - from Clarkefilm Publishing

George is described as 'a sort of artificial intelligence program'. And seeing as George is the soft of artificial intelligence program that I cover on here, it seemed only sensible to include it.

This version of the program is called TGeorge, for Talking George. It uses the TRAN program, written by Stephen Neely, for the speech which it uses to reply to you through your internal speaker. My only criticism is that it reads out what you have written after you have pressed return, this makes it sound confusing and in my opinion it would have been better if it just said its own replies. Apart from that, it is not a bad little program.

Important: This program is very old, and and will only work with computers that have QBasic.
