    Chatbox - by Peter Neuendorffer

Chatbox Version 2.0 was written in 1993 by Peter Neuendorffer and it searches files with the extensions .doc, .txt, .hlp, and .dat (as well as files with no extension) to find a reply. This is because Chatbox does not have a vocabulary of his own.

It tries to match the words up, and the results depend on what is on your hard drive. For me the results were quite good, but this was because of the data files of other Natural Language Chatterbots, mainly Shampage. I frequently kept getting phrases from various shampage.dat's, and this made the program quite good.

To see if your drive is natural languaged you can download the 27k file chatbox.zip from this site.
